A victim of identity theft must dispute fraudulent accounts on their credit report. The only way to get that started is by obtaining a copy of your credit report.
By law you are entitled to a free copy of your credit report from Transunion, Equifax and Experian.
I recommend you either call or mail for your report.

What if you already ordered your free credit report for the year?
If you are or suspect you are a victim of identity theft then you can obtain a free copy of your credit report over and above your annual limit.
Under federal law, the Fair Credit Reporting Act §612 gives you that right. Send in a letter that says something like this:
I am requesting a free copy of my credit report because I am a victim of fraud. Please include a fraud alert in my file and provide me a free copy of my consumer report. Appropriate proof of my identity is enclosed.
This letter is my assertion in good faith that I have been or am about to become a victim of fraud or related crime. I believe I am and/or am about to become a victim of fraud. I have been threatened with debt collection and negative credit reporting for accounts which I did not authorize and I believe an identity thief is using my information. For this reason, I need to address this fraud as quickly as possible. This is why I am requesting you send my credit report within three days.
